Name: The Fishers Arms
Address: Main St, Horncliffe, Berwick-upon-Tweed TD15 2XW
This is a unique VAUX Pub Original plan and architectural drawings. The Horncliffe community may lose this pub but may not get the chance to defend it. The Fishers' Arms in Horncliffe has been at the centre of the village on the Anglo-Scottish border for more than 200 years. However, it has been closed since the beginning of November and residents fear that the pub is being 'carved up' by its current landlord, despite an ACV (asset of community value) Order being passed in 2018, preventing any change of use of the building. The residents wish to run it as a community pub. It is the only pub between Norham and Berwick upon Tweed.
