The Flying Scotsman, named after the famous train that frequently passed by, is a community pub located on the outskirts of Newcastle city centre which first opened on the site of the suburb’s former railway station. It received a rejuvenation in November 2015 bringing it new life and as of 2020 wishes to add further developments.
